Vineyards: As a whole, the areas of vineyards in the Cantina del Conero are 188 acres of which 122 are well Conero Doc. By the late 90s the company began to plant new vineyards, the essential foundation for making great wines. The vines grown here are Conero classics Montepulciano and Sangiovese, but also non-native varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot, some international varieties such as Chardonnay and Sauvignon are also grown.

Microclimate: The high rocky coast and Mount (572 mt.) Protect the hills that slope inward with average altitudes 130-250 m. s.l.m. The area is characterized by different soils, with marl and marly limestone of the foothills of Monte Conero. Montepulciano grapes are grown here in the DOC regions which have superior reputation and are centered on the mountains of Conero in Ancona.

History: -Rosso Conero is one of the historic areas of wine production in the Region Marche. The Denomination of Controlled Origin was, in fact, among the first established in Italy already in 1967. La Cantina del Conero "was built in 1972 and has always been landmarks in the Rosso Conero control. Moncaro decided to invest in the early nineties and after a period of short cooperation acquires the winery in 1995.

Wine Cellar: - Cantina del Conero looks like a "workshop" for red wines. The vinification takes place in tanks low and wide with an ideal immersion of the cap, the operations to control the temperature, and great care going into the punching and the "delestage".
