Location of the vines: the hills of the classic area of Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi.
Grapes: 100% Verdicchio.
Soil: of Miocene and Pliocene origin, with the prevalent of sand.
Altitude: all the vineyards are on hills at 220/300 mt. above the sea level.
Alcohol gradation: 12.00 %
Winemaking: soft pressing, static decantation and fermentation at controlled temperature with selected yeast. The wine matures for two months and is refined in the bottle for thirty days.
Tasting notes: bright straw colour with green tints. Fresh, aromatic bouquet; tart, dry taste without any harsh edges, slightly bittersweet. To be served at 8- 10°C , with fish, pasta, vegetarian food, white meat not too spiced. Reuters |
